Nigerian Lawyer Ifunanya Excel Demands $15 Million Bride Price, Cites Virginity as Reason
Ifunanya Excel, a Nigerian lawyer and social media personality known for her bold online presence, has stirred controversy once again—this time by declaring that her bride price is a staggering $15 million.
In a recent post on Twitter, the outspoken influencer justified the hefty price tag by claiming she is still a virgin. “My bride price is $15 million because I’m still a virgin,” she wrote, sparking widespread debate online.
Despite her declaration, Ifunanya has also been vocal about her disinterest in marriage and motherhood. In an earlier interview with Yangi Media, she explained that tying the knot or having children would conflict with her life goals and ambitions.
“I’m very driven,” she said. “Marriage and children would hold me back. I grew up in an environment where emotional support from parents was lacking. That experience taught me what real parenting should involve.”
She went on to explain that if she ever had children, she would want to give them her full attention and care—something she feels would be incompatible with her career aspirations. “With the kind of goals I’m chasing, I know I can’t be fully present for a child. So I’d rather not have one at all.”
